Vegetable Dip Recipes Biography

1 pk Knorrs Vegetable soup mix
2 cups Sour Cream (16oz)
1 cup Mayonnaise
8 oz can Water Chestnuts~drained and chopped
3 Green Onion shoots
1/4 cup Vidalia Onion ~finely diced
1 Bread Bowl ~ sour doe or pumpernickel is great!

Mix sour cream and Mayo. Add soup mix, water chestnuts, green onions, vidalia and blend well.Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. Serve with vegetables or in a bread bowl.



Noted: This is a Knorr's recipe without spinach. I prefer it without, I think it tastes better!  But that is my personal preference. Feel free to add spinach if that is your preference.

Healthy Yogurt Vegetable Dip

As you all know, I’ve been trying to eat a lot more fruits and vegetables lately!  I’m always lookin’ for ways to add them to my diet.  I love to add veggies to my eggs, protein shakes (spinach), salads or just enjoy them on their own!  AND, when I eat them on their own, I love to dip them in a yummy dip!

This dip happens to be yummy AND healthy!  Woo hoo.  I basically took my mom’s vegetable dip recipe and subbed Greek yogurt for the mayo.  Yay.
(makes 2 cups, 16 servings)

    1 C. fat free plain Greek yogurt
    1 C. low fat sour cream
    1/2 Tablespoon dried parsley
    1/2 teaspoon dill weed
    1/2 teaspoon onion powder
    1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt

Mix everything together and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
